Dr. C. K. Wong is the Vice-Chairman and Co-founder of AsiaSoft.
Dr. Wong is a Distinguished Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society. He is a member of the University Grants Committee; the Research Grants Council, a member of the Advisory Committee on Creative Industry of the Central Policy Unit in the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Dr. Wong serves as members in the Advisory Committees of various engineering faculties and IT related academic departments in the local universities, and those in mainland China as well as the United States. He is also a member of the Committee on IT Training and Development of the Vocational Training Council.
In 1988, Dr Wong founded iASPEC , a group of companies providing IT consulting services, software products and services in Hong Kong, China and North America.
He is currently the Managing Principal for iASPEC. Prior to this, he served in several state-operated organizations and has held senior positions in international IT companies in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Dr. Wong obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. He served as the Principal Architect in a State of California government data centre from 1975 to 1981. He received the Distinguished Services Award from the California Government in 1979.
